Galentine’s Day was originally introduced on an episode of the comedy television show, Parks and Recreation.  The main character, Leslie Knope, portrayed by comedian Amy Poehler, throws an annual Galentine’s Day party to celebrate her gals.  Dentist Stephen Lavrisa loves to celebrate his gal’s everyday of the year.  In fact, he treated all of us to a day at the spa last week.
